Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus in Ohio is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for 12-hour shifts on weekends. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the care team, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, at least 12 months of acute care experience, BLS certification, and a BSN is preferred within 5 years of hire. ACLS/NRP/PALS may be required by your unit, with benefits and PTO available.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 12 months RN experience in an acute care setting.
• BSN preferred; must be completed within 5 years of hire.
• A nurse returning to acute care after 5+ years may need refresher course.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide care in collaboration with other health care providers.
• Accountable for own professional development and practice within scope of care defined by law.
• Advocates for safe care, delegating as needed and participating in performance improvement activities.
• Care delivery reflects Kettering Health Network missions, vision and values.
• Must be available to work two 12-hour weekend shifts.
• Full-time benefits eligible position with PTO accrual.
