Job summary

Guidewell-Emergency-Doctors is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, free-standing outpatient Emergency Medicine facility. You will triage, discharge, and manage patient care across a broad acuity range while ensuring accurate documentation and coordination with the care team.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in critical care, ER experience, and current Florida RN licensure with ACLS/PALS. Travel up to 30% may be required to support clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Requires Florida RN license (or compact license) with Florida authorization.
• ACLS certification and PALS certification required.
• Minimum 3+ years in a Critical Care setting (ICU) with 2+ years in ER.
• Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Triage and discharge patients of all ages accurately.
• Manage medications, documentation, and prescriptions in computer systems.
• Perform quality splinting, wound care, and dressing applications.
• Conduct EKGs/cardiac monitoring and recognize arrhythmias.
• Prepare procedures per protocol (I&D, sutures, lumbar puncture, etc.).
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients and delegate duties as needed.
