The Atrium Health Floyd Emergency Department is a Level 2 Trauma center with 52 licensed beds, dedicated to trauma, acute and chronic care, and psychiatric conditions. We have a robust orientation process tailored to ensure your success.

Our nursing staff hold BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC certifications with opportunities to obtain national credentials. ER experience is preferred but not required for entry.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Emergency Room experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care aligned with standards and policies.
