Job summary

AHN Wexford Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This full-time night-shift role requires PA RN licensure, CPR certification, and compliance with Act 34/33/73; ER experience preferred and the ability to work with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure required.
• CPR certification required.
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances required.
• ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
• Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
• Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
• Utilize the nursing process to implement patient care plans.
