Central Maine Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role provides direct patient care in a high-acuity ED, with responsibilities including patient assessment, planning and evaluation, and coordinating with physicians.

Requirements include current RN license in Maine, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 2+ years acute care experience (ER preferred). A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates, with schedule options across day and night shifts.

Qualificações

• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS certification required at hire; must maintain.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire; maintain.
• PALS certification required within 30 days of hire; maintain.
• Minimum 2+ years acute care RN experience; ER preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the physician and document results.
• Maintain EMTALA compliance and report abuse; safeguard patient privacy.
• Be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment response.
