Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for Emergency Department coverage. The role offers full-time, part-time, and per diem options with day and night shifts on a 3 x 12 hour schedule.

Pay ranges from $37.00 to $51.28 per hour with a corresponding 12-hour gross shift pay prior to taxes. Eligible experienced RNs may receive a sign-on bonus up to $20,000, with higher incentives for 2+ years of RN experience.

Qualifikationen

• Current and valid state RN License
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current
• PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 30 days of hire and maintain current
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; ER setting preferred
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Aufgaben

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) in Telemetry.
• Provide direct patient care and guide patient/family teaching and other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in the patient’s condition and test results; respond quickly to changes in condition or response to treatment.
