CareRev is seeking an Emergency Department RN in Waterbury, CT for per diem shifts. Local candidates only; minimum 2 years of ED RN experience and an active RN license with BLS and ACLS are required. PALS/trauma certs may be needed before first shift.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. PALS and/or trauma certifications may be required prior to first shift.
• Minimum of 2-years full-time experience as an ED RN (most recent experience within the last year).
• Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes.
• Strong ability to use independent, critical judgment in all aspects of patient care delivery.
• Competency in current emergency room evidence-based practices and protocols for STEMI, sepsis, stroke, and trauma care.
• Familiarity with conditions such as severe lacerations or burns, sports injuries, allergic reactions, and work-related injuries.
