Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem hospital assignments with flexible scheduling and competitive pay. Shifts include 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, offering the opportunity to work around your availability.

Earn $57.65/hour with options for daily pay and weekly pay. Active RN license, 2+ years ER experience, BLS and ACLS are required, along with facility credentialing.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritise patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
