Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital assignments. You can choose shifts around your availability with a local team offering competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and support from 5:00 AM–11:30 PM.

Earn $57.65 per hour with per diem benefits. Qualifications include an active RN license, minimum 2 years ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
