Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital opportunities. The role offers flexible scheduling and shifts from 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM with per diem pay.

Earn competitive pay with Daily Pay available and support from a local staffing team, with shifts available 5:00 AM–11:30 PM. Active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and credentialing readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN License required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
