Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem hospital opportunities in the United States. The position offers 3:00 PM-11:00 PM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM shifts with flexible scheduling and daily pay options.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license with at least 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Facility credentialing requirements must be met.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
