Job summary

TriStar Ashland City Medical Center is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department.

The RN will collaborate with physicians and the care team, document care thoroughly, and educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps. The role emphasizes advocacy, safety, and compassionate care in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years ER RN experience required
• ACLS within 60 days of start date
• BCLS within 30 days of start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months of start date
• PALS within 6 months of start date
• RN license (RN) or equivalent qualification

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other ordered care; document in medical record
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
• Educate patients/families/caregivers about condition, treatment plan, and follow-up measures
• Teach lifestyle changes and self-management for future care
