Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
• Document administration of care in the patient’s medical record promptly.
• Respond to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients/families/caregivers about condition, treatment, medications and follow-up.
• Prepare patients and families for self-management and lifestyle changes.
