Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in Kissimmee, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for Emergency Services at the Hunter's Creek ER in Orlando. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

As an ER RN, you’ll assess pain, perform procedures, document care, and educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up. You’ll contribute to outcomes and the patient experience while supporting departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications must be maintained.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of start date.
• TNCC and/or ENPC or PALS within 6 months of start date.
• Minimum of 1 year emergency department experience.
• Travel not required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly and promotes effective pain management.
• Performs procedures and documents care in the medical record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow‑up.
• Educates on lifestyle changes and self‑management post-discharge.
