Job summary

Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the 12-hour night shift. You will engage in hands-on patient care for emergent and critical patients, participate in state-of-the-art simulation labs, and pursue trauma certification in a Level 2 Trauma Center.

Minimum qualifications include ADN, CT RN license, and ER experience; BLS/CPR, ACLS, TNCC preferred with post-hire training.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an ADN is required.
• Valid Connecticut RN license is required.
• One year ER nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to emergent and critical ED patients.
• Engage in ED nursing training and simulation labs.
• Pursue trauma nursing certification with growth opportunities in a Level 2 Trauma Center.
