Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in North Carolina seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This full-time role features 3x12 hour night shifts, a $10,000–$20,000 commitment incentive, and a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

You will perform patient assessments, initiate nursing interventions, document care, and contribute to the interdisciplinary care plan while meeting regulatory requirements and pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred but not required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• Two or more years of RN Emergency Department experience required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
