Job summary

AdventHealth in Lenexa, KS, seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for night shift. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, create and adjust care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families while collaborating with the care team to ensure safety and quality.

Required is an Associate's degree in Nursing with active RN licensure and BLS; BSN preferred; 1+ year acute care experience is favored. This role is on-site at the Lenexa location.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing required and RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological and psychosocial factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and update as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and safety protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with care team to coordinate patient care and ensure documentation.
