Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a qualified Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department of Atrium Health Floyd Polk Medical Center in Cedartown, GA. The role is part-time (24 hours/week) with two 12-hour night shifts (Wednesday and Friday, 7 p.m.–7 a.m.), and includes on-call days every six weeks.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
• Active RN license in the state where practicing.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts plans, and collaborates with the care team to improve outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains accurate documentation.
• May administer medications and treatments per clinical protocols.
• Communicates effectively and collaborates with team; provides education and delegation where appropriate.
