Atrium Health Floyd Polk Medical Center in Cedartown, GA is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This role involves applying evidence-based nursing care, collaborating with the care team, and delivering patient-centered services during night shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact or single-state license.
• BLS certification required.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• BSN preferred for this ED RN position.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and ensure accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
