Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room night shift. This full-time role provides frontline patient care, IV administration, and rapid assessment in a high-energy environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of emergency nursing experience and Florida RN licensure, plus current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Certification, and CPI. UHS offers strong benefits and career development.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Florida RN licensure.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS through American Heart Association.
• Current PALS through American Heart Association.
• Current NIH Stroke Certification.
• CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care to patients in accordance with facility policies and nursing standards.
• Demonstrate professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Communicate with physicians and nursing staff about patient needs and care plans.
• Administer IVs and medications to aid patient health.
• Utilize medical equipment to monitor vital signs and patient status.
