Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a part-time night shift (7pm-7am) at a Georgia facility. The RN will provide high-quality, safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team, guided by Wellstar models and standards.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, delivering patient-centered care, and collaborating with care teams to meet patient goals while supporting governance and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license in Georgia.
• Eligible to practice in Emergency Department.
• BLS certification required; PALS/TNCC/ACLS certifications beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based practice and individualized care.
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered nursing care respecting cultural diversity.
• Partners with patient and family through bedside shifts, rounds, and teaching to align goals with the plan of care.
• Supports performance improvement, shared governance, and inter/intra-disciplinary collaboration to ensure safe, high-quality care.

ASN/ Diploma in Nursing
