Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN for Emergency Department with night shift responsibilities in Georgia. The role focuses on evidence-based, patient-centered care delivered by a multidisciplinary team under nurse managers and governance structures.

The RN will uphold professional practice standards and state nursing regulations. Requirements include active RN licensure in Georgia, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ACLS certifications, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and teamwork

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Georgia or eligible for licensure
• BLS certification required upon hire
• PALS certification required upon hire
• TNCC certification required upon hire
• ACLS certification required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning and evaluation with evidence-based practice.
• Provide patient-centered, culturally sensitive and safe care in the ED.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, high-quality care.
• Document care thoroughly and support governance and performance improvement initiatives
