Job summary

Witham Memorial Hospital is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department on the Lebanon, IN campus. The mid-shift schedule includes 9am–9pm and 11am–11pm rotations, totaling 3x12-hour shifts per week, with on-site duties and full-time status.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, with BSN preferred, and a valid Indiana RN license with BLS certification. Additional certifications may be required depending on assigned care, and ongoing CEU/compliance is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Must hold a valid RN license by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) and be BLS certified.
• Additional certifications are dependent on assigned care.
• RN is responsible for continuous self-professional development by attending seminars and maintaining CEUs.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients using the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Prepare patients and significant others for discharge.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses and Nursing Assistants when applicable.
• Communicate patient needs to the multi-disciplinary health care team.
