Job summary

Cullman Regional is seeking a dedicated registered nurse for the Hartselle Emergency Department in Hartselle, Alabama 35640. This full-time role (0.9 FTE) covers diverse shifts and emphasizes compassionate patient care in a fast-paced setting.

You will deliver individualized nursing care, document thoroughly, collaborate with physicians, and uphold safety and quality standards. AASN or BSN with Alabama RN licensure is required, ACLS within 1 year, and prefer 1 year of ED experience.

Qualifications

• AL state RN licensure and an Associate’s degree in nursing required.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Pass medication test.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform individualized care for assigned patients, incorporating clinical practice guidelines with established nursing practice.
• Complete documentation and charges in an appropriate, thorough and timely manner.
• Adhere to case management model for assigned patients working with physicians for effective throughput.
• Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
