Job summary

Cullman Regional in Hartselle, AL is seeking a dedicated registered nurse for the Hartselle Emergency Department. This full-time, .9 position runs 7AM–7PM and requires compassionate, high-quality patient care. You will perform individualized care, complete timely documentation, and work with physicians to ensure efficient throughput.

Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, plus basic computer skills, are essential. ADN with Alabama licensure is required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing and Alabama state licensure required. BSN preferred.
• One year of nursing experience preferred. Must pass medication test.
• ACLS certification required within 1 year of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proficient oral and written communication and basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform individualized care for assigned patients, incorporating clinical practice guidelines with established nursing practice.
• Complete documentation and charges in an appropriate, thorough and timely manner.
• Adhere to case management model for assigned patients working with physicians for effective throughput.
• Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
