Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Franklin, TN is seeking an RN to coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team. You will advocate for patients and contribute to excellent clinical outcomes.

The role emphasizes teaching patients and families, timely documentation, and adherence to established nursing models. Mentorship, education, and support resources are provided.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse credential required.
• An Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or RN Diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and strives to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about patient medical condition, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
