Qualifications

• RN required and licensed in the state
• ACLS within 6 months of start date
• BLS within 30 days of start date
• One year of acute care experience required
• No travel required

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about patient medical condition, status, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow‑up measures.
• Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
• Teaches non‑medicinal follow‑up measures such as healthy lifestyle changes.
• Manages evidence‑based practices and continuous process improvement initiatives to meet quality measures and enhance care.
