Job summary

Marymount Hospital, part of the Cleveland Clinic health system, is seeking a registered nurse for our Emergency Department. The role includes direct patient care, care-planning, monitoring and education, with a shift from 7:00am to 7:30pm.

Minimum qualifications include RN licensure in Ohio, 1 year acute care or ED experience, BLS, ACLS and PALS; TNCC or ENPC required within a year of employment. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of Ohio
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN or Emergency Department experience; military RN experience considered
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross
• ACLS and PALS certifications required by hire or within one year of employment
• TNCC or ENPC certification required by hire or within one year of employment
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
