Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Level I Emergency Department. You will perform detailed patient assessments, create care plans, and deliver high‑quality trauma and emergency care in a fast-paced teaching hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• RN license required in Texas.
• BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting.
• 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Coordinate with trauma team for rapid response and treatment.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
• Document patient progress accurately in EMR and maintain compliance with procedures.
