Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in College Station, Texas. This full-time night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) requires strong acute-care experience, capable of fast-paced decision making, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality emergency care.

Responsibilities include detailed patient assessments, care planning, and patient/family education within a Level III trauma center.

Qualifications

• RN license required and active
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Specialized field of nursing not required but preferred
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and plan care.
• Prioritize patient needs and develop/adjust care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for safe and effective care.
• Document and communicate patient status and changes promptly.
• Maintain patient privacy and uphold nursing ethics.
