UC Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The ED RN delivers high-quality care in a Level I Trauma Center, working within established standards and department guidelines.

The role emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, patient- and family-centered care, and ongoing professional development within a growing ED expansion.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate's Degree, minimum required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred.
• Current OH RN License.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS per department requirements based on patient population needs.

Mansioni

• The RN is licensed to practice nursing and provides care based on assessment, standards of care, and policy.
• Prepares, implements, evaluates, and coordinates the interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Communicates plan of care to all levels of care staff and sets priorities based on patient needs.
• Gives instructions to patients/family regarding treatment and involves family in care decisions.
• Addresses behavioral health considerations and cultural norms in care planning.
• Documents nursing process accurately and contributes to professional development of staff.

Formazione

Associate's Degree (minimum)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)

Current OH RN License

BLS/ACLS/PALS per department requirements
