Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring full-time Registered Nurses for the Emergency Department, home to Hampton Roads’ only Level I Trauma Center. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing emergency nursing team where clinical skill, teamwork, and purpose come together to make an immediate impact for patients and families across the region.

Qualified candidates may be eligible for up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS, TCRN, SCRN, TNCC, CEN, PALS, and ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care in a Level I Trauma Center setting.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Deliver safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED environment.
• Support trauma and critical care patients with specialized protocols.
