Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Milford, MA seeks a Lead Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role coordinates patient flow, supervises staff, and ensures quality care in alignment with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current RN License in Massachusetts.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to staff, including scheduling, staffing, and patient care assignments.
• Serve as a clinical expert and resource; assist with orientation and staff development.
• Promote quality patient care and staff satisfaction through effective communication and resource management.
• Coordinate and deliver patient care; supervise nursing staff and inform leadership of issues.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Foster a professional environment that encourages open communication and continuous learning.
