Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Milford, MA is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care in the 32-hour weekly evening shift. Responsibilities include nursing process from admission to discharge and discharge planning, with MA RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/PALS in select areas may be required within set timelines.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS required in select areas within 6 months or first course offering
• PALS required in select areas within 6 months or first course offering
• NRP Advanced Provider required in select areas within 6 months or first course offering

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from Admission to Discharge
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment per procedure
• Develops and coordinates plan of care including discharge planning
• Directs, coordinates and evaluates nursing care in assigned setting
• Delegates appropriately according to job description and competency level
