Job summary

HCA Florida Yulee Free Standing Emergency Room is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift. You will triage, assess and treat patients across all ages in a fast-paced emergency department, coordinating care with the ED attending and across zones including trauma and pediatric care.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, active RN licensure in Florida, and BLS. ACLS/PALS are preferred and should be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing (ADN or higher).
• Must be licensed as an RN in the state of practice or hold a multi-state license.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred and must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Document nursing notes reflecting condition changes, transfers and discharges.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Respond to and triage calls as needed.
• Coordinate throughput across triage, rapid treatment, carepath, pediatric ER and trauma.
• Triage and manage incoming ambulance traffic and collaborate with ED attending.
