HCA Florida Mercy Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department Night shift to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to assess, treat, teach, and manage patient needs, ensuring timely documentation and proactive communication.

The role requires an RN with at least 1 year of ED hospital experience and certification readiness in ACLS, BLS, and PALS within the specified time frames.

Qualifications

• RN with registered nurse license and hospital-based ED experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required within stated windows.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training within 90 days of start date.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassessment after interventions.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or orders as directed; document care in the medical record promptly.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to provide exceptional care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, status, treatment plans, medications, and side effects; translate complex terms.
• Prepare patients and families for self-management with non-medicinal follow-up steps like diet and exercise.
