Job summary

Truman Medical Centers' UH Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a compassionate Clinical Nurse RN for the Emergency Room on a part-time 5:00 PM–1:30 AM schedule (24 hours/week). You will assess patients, plan and deliver care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with a Missouri license, BCLS, and a BSN or higher preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Missouri RN license.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education.
• Supervise and mentor nursing students.
• Maintain compliance with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and regulatory requirements.
