Job summary

University Health Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO seeks a Clinical Nurse RN to join the Emergency Room team on a full-time night shift (6:45 PM–7:15 AM). You will deliver high-quality care to patients with acute and chronic conditions.

As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, participate in program evaluations and education, and mentor students while staying compliant with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BCLS certification.
• BSN or equivalent degree preferred.
• RN Specialty Certification optional.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on their diagnosis and care needs
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care using your expert skills
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education
• Supervise and mentor students
• Stay compliant with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and all organizational and regulatory requirements
