Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) at the Five Forks Emergency Center. The role delivers high-quality nursing care, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, and develops care plans to improve patient outcomes in a busy ER.

Qualifications include an accredited nursing degree, current RN license, 1 year RN experience (ER/CC preferred), and ACLS/PALS with BLS requirements within 6 months of hire. EPIC EHR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; ER/CC preferred.
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire; BLS preferred at hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Evaluates, updates and revises the plan of care to meet outcomes.
• Serves as point of contact for patient care coordination.
• Administer medications safely and per policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
