Job summary

San Antonio Regional Hospital in California is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide and oversee emergency patient care under ED leadership. You will apply the nursing process, supervise staff, and coordinate interdisciplinary care in a fast-paced ED.

Ideal candidates have a CA RN license with BLS/ACLS and PALS or ENPC, plus NIH Stroke Scale certification. TNCC/CEN preferred for advanced roles within the department.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Current, unrestricted California RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• TNCC and/or CEN certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage emergency patient care using the nursing process.
• Delegate tasks and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care with physicians and other teams.
• Ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
