Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking an Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The role collaborates with providers to meet department standards and supports patient advocacy across the care spectrum.

The RN will monitor pain management, document care, respond to patient needs, and educate patients and families on conditions, plans, medications, and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Less than 1 year of applicable nursing experience.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice or holds an active compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and supports timely care.
• Educates patients, families and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications and follow-up measures.
• Teaches about non-medicinal follow-up measures and future self-management.
