Job summary

The Registered Nurse at HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with department requirements and state standards. In collaboration with medical providers and the care team, the RN advocates for patients while supporting clinical outcomes.

You will assess pain, perform procedures, document care promptly, and teach patients and families about conditions, plans, and healthy lifestyle changes, with access to mentorship, education

Qualifications

• Associate degree or RN diploma required.
• BSN preferred.
• < 1 year applicable experience.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about patient medical condition, treatment plan, and follow-up measures, in plain language.
