Incredible Health Hospitals in Indio, CA are actively hiring for an Emergency Department (RN). Nurses with ER experience in trauma, fast track, psychiatric care, or transport are encouraged to apply. Shift types include day, night, and mid shifts; full-time, part-time, and per diem roles exist.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years of ER experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first line of defense for patients needing urgent medical care.
• Treat patients with trauma, injury or severe medical conditions.
• Assess patients quickly and prioritize care.
• Monitor health, administer meds and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans and determine discharge vs. longer stay.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
