Job summary

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1+ year ER experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients requiring urgent medical care.
• Treat patients with trauma, injury, or severe conditions.
• Assess patients quickly and prioritize care.
• Monitor health, administer medications and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans and determine disposition.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
