Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an ER Registered Nurse for Kings Mills Hospital in Ohio. You will deliver compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced ER, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and implement patient care plans to improve outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an associates or bachelor's degree in nursing, current RN licensure, and are prepared to obtain ACLS/PALS within 6 months. ER/CC experience is preferred but not required; EPIC EHR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS and ACLS/PALS certifications (ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire).
• One year of RN experience; ER/CC preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high-intensity setting.
• Evaluate and revise the plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Serve as point of contact for care coordination across departments.
• Provide care to a broad spectrum of patients from short-stay to trauma.
• Administer medications safely per policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
