Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, Oklahoma, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on a mid shift from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM. You will deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to patients with diverse and urgent healthcare needs.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma RN license.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ALS, PALS and NIH Stroke Scale required within six months of employment in Emergency Department.
• NRP is preferred, but not required.
• TNCC and PEARS encouraged within two years of hire.
• Two to three years’ experience in Med/Surg, Critical Care, or Emergency Medical Services preferred.
• TEAM/De-Escalation training completed within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Serve as a patient advocate and trusted clinical resource.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Deliver compassionate care while maintaining professional nursing standards.
• Utilize critical thinking and sound clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment.
