Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Oklahoma required.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS required.
• ALS and PALS required within 6 months of ED employment.
• NIH Stroke Scale required within 6 months.
• NRP preferred but not required.
• TNCC and PEARS encouraged within 2 years of hire.
• 2–3 years of Med/Surg, Critical Care, or Emergency Medical Services experience preferred.
• TEAM/De‑Escalation training completed within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• The RN fulfills caregiver, decision-maker, client advocate, manager, rehabilitator, comforter, communicator, and teacher roles.
• Assess nursing needs, initiate plan of care, implement and evaluate using the nursing process.
• Standards of Practice guide safe, professional nursing care.
• Promote dignity and quality of care for patients.

RN licensure in Oklahoma

PALS

2-3 years Med/Surg/CC/EMS experience preferred
