Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to join the Emergency Department team. The ED provides fast-paced, high-quality care with a focus on teamwork and ongoing education.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, care plan implementation, and patient education. Minimum RN licensure with ADN or BSN required, plus BLS, ACLS, ENPC and PALS certifications as per policy.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care in ED settings.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to meet outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with information tailored to cultural needs.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocol.
