Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide expert nursing care in a busy ER setting at West Hospital. The RN will assess patient status, lead care planning and work with an interprofessional team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, active RN licensure, and at least one year of RN experience. ED/CC experience is preferred but not required; EPIC EHR familiarity is desired.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• One year of RN experience; ED/CC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups in a fast-paced, high-intensity setting as part of an interprofessional team.
• Evaluates, updates and revises the plan of care to meet outcomes.
• Serves as point of contact for patients' care coordination across departments.
• Provides care to a broad spectrum of patients from short-stay to trauma.
• Administer medications safely per practice/state policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
