Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ED) at Rayhealthcare provides direct patient care in a fast-paced setting, under supervision of the Manager. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for all ages, maintaining accurate records and a safe environment for patients and families.

Requirements include MO RN licensure (or compact license), BLS/ALS/PALS; TNCC and ESI can be obtained within the first year.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and maintain current RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rapid assessments using ESI triage to determine acuity and plan care.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures per physician orders.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and ensure safety.
• Document care in the electronic medical record accurately and timely.
• Support quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
